Warranty Details
Scope of Warranty
This Limited Warranty applies solely to BTB-manufactured OEM products, including the SAPR, REAPR, and Uno systems (“Equipment”). This warranty covers only the Equipment as shipped from BTB’s facility and does not apply to any equipment, components, or systems not supplied by BTB. Warranty coverage begins upon shipment from BTB’s dock.
Five-Year Limited Warranty – Core OEM System
BTB warrants that the following components of the Equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the shipment date:
BTB-manufactured mechanical assemblies
BTB-manufactured electrical assemblies
BTB-developed firmware
BTB-developed application software
The robot, including the robot arm, controller, internal cabling, motors, drives, and teach pendant
This 5-year warranty applies exclusively to the core OEM system listed above.
One-Year Limited Warranty – High Wear and Ancillary Systems
The following components are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the shipment date:
A. End Effector
Covers BTB-supplied end effector assemblies, excluding normal wear items.
B. Pneumatic Components
Covers pneumatic valves, air preparation units, filters, regulators, lubricators, dryers, and related pneumatic accessories.
Air Quality Requirement:
Warranty coverage for pneumatic components requires the Purchaser to supply clean, dry, filtered compressed air meeting BTB’s published specifications.
Failures caused by moisture, oil carryover, particulates, contamination, or inadequate air quality are excluded from warranty coverage.
C. Ancillary and Peripheral Systems
The following systems, when supplied by BTB as part of the Equipment package, are covered for one (1) year:
Conveyors
Vision systems
Material-handling accessories
Fixtures, tooling, and peripheral devices
Any third-party equipment included with the OEM system
All third-party components are covered only to the extent permitted by the original manufacturer’s warranty.
Warranty Service Requirements
A. On-Site Maintenance Technician
Purchaser shall maintain at least one maintenance-level technician on-site and available to assist BTB with minor repairs, adjustments, and component replacements.
If an issue can be resolved through remote guidance and replacement parts provided by BTB, Purchaser agrees to perform such work without requiring BTB to dispatch a technician. If Purchaser fails to provide the required on-site support, Purchaser shall be responsible for all travel and labor costs associated with service visits that would otherwise have been unnecessary.
B. Remote Connectivity Requirement
Purchaser shall provide and maintain reliable broadband Internet access that allows BTB secure remote connectivity for diagnostics, monitoring, troubleshooting, and warranty support. If BTB cannot access the Equipment remotely due to Purchaser’s network configuration, security restrictions, connectivity failures, or lack of required credentials, Purchaser shall be responsible for all additional costs associated with warranty service, including travel, living expenses, and shipping.
Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, negligence, or operator error
Modifications, alterations, or tampering
Corrosion or environmental damage
Improper installation, disconnection, or adjustment
Inadequate or improper maintenance
Failures caused by contaminated, wet, or unfiltered
compressed air
Accidents or external events beyond BTB’s control
Programming changes made by anyone other than BTB
Failures caused by third-party equipment or software
Wear items, consumables, or expendable components
Payment Status Requirement
BTB reserves the right to delay or suspend the provision of warranty labor, services, travel, and materials until the purchaser’s or customer’s account is current and in compliance with all applicable payment terms.
Exclusive Remedy
Purchaser’s exclusive remedy for any breach of this warranty is, at BTB’s option:
Repair of the defective component,
Replacement of the defective component, or
Provision of replacement parts for Purchaser to install.
BTB shall not be obligated to provide on-site service if the issue can be resolved through remote support or Purchaser-performed replacement of field-replaceable components.
Disclaimer of Additional Warranties
BTB MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
No person is authorized to assume obligations or liabilities greater than or different from those set forth in this Limited Warranty.
Entire Warranty
This Limited Warranty constitutes the entire understanding between BTB and Purchaser regarding warranty coverage for the Equipment. No other representations or agreements, oral or otherwise, are binding unless expressly set forth herein.
